Belzer Middle School, named after educator Francis O. Belzer, is located in Lawrence Township, Marion County, Indianapolis, Indiana. Founded in 1963 as Belzer Junior High School, Belzer Middle School currently has over 1430 students enrolled in grades 6 through 8. "The Bruins" is our school nickname. 

The Belzer district is composed of Brook Park, Crestview, Mary Castle, Harrison Hill and Skiles Test elementary areas, with some students coming from Forest Glen, depending on residence areas.

The Belzer staff works diligently to provide students with a safe and supportive environment that promotes academic achievement for all. Students are given opportunities to develop their individual talents and to grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Each person is an integral member of the community through a variety of opportunities and activities.
